Skipping Childhood Novel Receives Positive Review
I’m happy to announce that a Reader has posted the first Amazon review for: “Skipping Childhood: A Novel” and they gave it a four-start rating. I know it’s only one, but a smart author knows that every single review is precious and matters, in one way or another.
As all self-published authors can attest to, there is nothing more desirable than to have Readers enjoy our work and express it by posting a written review. Not only are reviews the lifeblood of an author and the birth of their new titles, but they help to provide much needed feedback about the quality of the book and content of the story.
The comments made in the “Skipping Childhood “ book review were very insightful and any less than favorable statements had valid points. But whether an author agrees with the thoughts of a reviewer or not, they should remember this point: Always appreciate the genuine interest a Reader has to have in your story in order to take the time and make any comment at all. My goal as an author is to find a way to benefit from every single review I receive, so by all means, please keep them coming.
