New Writing Resources for 2017
This year, I’m looking forward to using two brand new writing resources to help improve my productivity. A couple of weeks ago, I mentioned a great writing resource that I came across and that I planned to try out. The software is called: The Novel Factory and I still intend to give it try before the month is up.
I’ve been having problems with my old P.C. for some time now. It’s old and outdated and I’m barely running on 200 MB (dangerously low). I didn’t even have the basic requirements to run the above mentioned software; thus the hold up in ordering the product.
I did, however, purchase a new Dell off the internet and I’m waiting for it to be delivered any day now. Once I get it up and running properly and transfer my necessary files, I’ll be ready to get back to writing. I’m excited about trying this software out because I was so impressed on the various features it has to offer.
Time Saving Benefits
From what I can tell thus far about The Novel Factory software, it will be able to save you time in a number of ways. You can easily build comprehensive character profiles, scenes and locations with the help of the Novel Factory. The software is designed to assist the writer in two specific ways:
- To help new and veteran writers organize all the elements of their story and facilitate continuity and cohesiveness.
- To teach new writers specific elements of story-telling and story-building, while implementing the concepts that they learn.
As an author, one of the best things we can do to help market ourselves is to keep writing more and more books. I’m all for any software that can help me write more effectively, not to mention more quickly. Once my new computer arrives and I have everything set up, I’ll be sure to share some screenshots of The Novel Factory and software.
