I foresee “Lights Out at the Moulin Rouge” as being just the first in a long line of future Moulin Rouge stories, hopefully not just mine own, but from other authors. There are too many stories to tell to think of it as competitive.
No one will believe me anyway. What will happen to my life if I tell? Maybe it’s not that big a deal. It’s over now so I’ll just move on.
