2017: Out with the Old – Excited for the New!
Just like many of you, I’m happy to see 2017 go and I’m excited about the coming New Year. As the saying goes, “Out with the old and in with the new!” I believe 2018 is finally going to be my year, in more ways than one. I foresee a happier, healthier, and more well-adjusted “Me” and I have a lot to be thankful for. In the upcoming weeks, I’ll be making a point to highlight some of the things that happened in 2017, and some of the topics I feel most affected by. But after that, starting in February, you can expect to see a whole lot of talk about my latest release: ”Lights Out at the Moulin Rouge.”
Of course, I’ve already been doing quite a bit of talking and promoting during the presale stage, however since January 1st is the official release date of this exciting new novel, I realize that I have a lot of work ahead of me, when it comes to marketing the book. In case you’re not already familiar with the book description, you can read all about the Moulin Rouge or simply go directly to the Amazon page and buy it on Kindle right now.
More than a Resolution
This year, when it comes to my book marketing, I plan to do more than just make the usual New Year’s resolution to do better. In order to reach my main objective for the year, I know that it will take more than a resolution to accomplish my goals. Let’s face it, whether you end up making the same resolution over and over again, year after year, or whether you constantly make up new ones each year, the truth is, most of the time, your resolutions never succeed. At least that has been my own personal experience. So this year, instead of listing all the things I plan to accomplish, I’m going to keep my eyes focused on one thing in particular, and refuse to give up or move on until I have positive results. If I fail to succeed this year, it won’t be for lack of trying and deciding to give up after a month or two. What about you? How will this year be different from last year when it comes to reaching your goals?
